If you're not a technical person (like me!), this may sound intimidating. But don’t worry… there are only four main things you need to pay attention to: 1. Make sure search engines can index your page First, search engines can’t index your page if they can’t find it or if you accidentally blocked it for indexing and ranking. The easiest way to prevent this is to: Submit an XML sitemap to search engines Make sure your robots.txt file does not prevent crawlers from accessing the pages you want to rank Here are some helpful resources on how to do this: What Is it an XML sitemap? Why should you own one? What is a robots.txt file.
Correct Errors and Broken Links Sometimes, search engines will encounter errors Bosnia and Herzegovina WhatsApp Number while browsing your website. For example, maybe you deleted a paragraphcontent and the URL returns a 404 error. If a third-party website links to a URL that displays an error, you lose the value passed from that link - search engines consider this a "broken link." strategy. You can overcome this problem by regularly checking your website for errors. Then decide if the error needs to be fixed - most SEO strategy errors can be easily fixed by redirecting to a new URL. 3. Make sure your website is mobile-friendly No need for me to explain, everyone surfs the Internet on their mobile phones. You already know how annoying it is to visit a website that isn’t mobile-friendly.

In order to provide a better experience to users, Google and other search engines started using mobile friendliness as a ranking factor (especially in mobile search results). If you’re just starting out, most modern content management systems and website builders (e.g. WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, etc.) have this covered. If you're working on an existing website that isn't mobile-friendly, you may want to talk to a developer as soon as possible about how to fix it. If you're not sure, Google has created a useful tool to test whether your website is mobile-friendly: Mobile-Friendly Test .
